Automatic Tyre Changer with Leverless System

The MM70LL is an advanced automatic tyre changer by Hofmann Megaplan, designed and made in Italy. It features a leverless demounting system that minimizes stress on the operator and tyres, ensuring safety. The heavy-duty turntable locks tyres from 10” to 27” and the ergonomic bead breaker can handle wheels up to 17” in width. The Motoinverter system controls the motor, allowing for speed variation from 0 to 16 rpm with low power consumption. The machine has a reinforced base with a vertical post structure and a 60×60 mm horizontal arm for maximum rigidity. It also features a simultaneous vertical and horizontal arm locking system, with a vertical arm that has a spring return mechanism. It also includes a pedal-operated inflating system with safety features.

The demounting system is Leverless with double support to the rim, minumizing any stress to both the operator or the tyre, whilst ensuring maximum safety when handling difficult tyres.

The heavy-duty (14mm) turntable has a locking capacity from 10” to 27” and utilises a direct clamping system, operated by 80 mm diameter cylinders, ensuring optimal clamping on all types of rim. The shape of the turnplate is designed so as to ease the bead-breaking of the second bead.

Ergonomic bead breaker with adjustable arm system which enables to operate on large wheels up to 17” width.

Motor controlled by Motoinverter system with progressive variation of speed from 0 to 16 rpm. The inverter board is installed on the machine, away from the engine to overcome vibration and heat problems. Low power consumption at rest with the intelligent stand-by. High reliability and protection, with automatic alarm reset bringing the pedal to the resting position (no power outages required).

Pedal-operated inflating system, manometer and CE-certified inflation pressure limiter.
