3D Wheel Alignment System with Automatic Camera Movement

The megaline 3500 is a 3D wheel alignment system for cars and light commercial vehicles, designed to deliver fast, accurate and reliable measurements. The automatic camera movement adjusts the motorized support beam to the lift height, optimizing the available workspace. Thanks to advanced 3D technology, the system measures all main alignment parameters, including wheelbase, track, diagonals, caster trail, friction radius and single wheel lifted run-out. The lightweight HD targets, without electronics or batteries, ensure easy handling and high reliability. The integrated diagnostic software compares measured values with manufacturer specifications, highlighting out-of-tolerance parameters and helping identify possible driving disorders. The database includes more than 55,000 vehicle models and is automatically updated via internet connection

The 3D technology detects all alignment parameters of cars and light commercial vehicles, including wheel diameters which allows you to check the correct inflation pressure and dimensions such as wheelbase, track and diagonals to identify damages due to crashes. In addition, the system allows the measurement of caster trail, friction radius and single wheel lifted run-out in case of restricted space or lifts with steps.

The 3D cameras are positioned on a motorized support beam that is automatically adjusted to the height of the lift. The position of the camera support beam is designed to optimize the available space.

Targets are extremely compact and light, as they are without electronics and batteries. In the standard version, the targets are mounted on 4-point clamps for wheels from 12” to 24” (up to 27” if fitted with special optional extensions). The system allows measurement with 2 targets in the case of long vehicles.

The database, updated every four months, contains more than 55,000 models with related specifications. Software and database updates automatically take place via internet connection.

The diagnosis page shows the measurements made on the vehicle alongside the specifications provided by the database, highlighting in red the measurements that are outside the specification limits and which will need to be adjusted. The Audit function provides a diagnosis of possible driving disorders resulting from measurements outside specification limits.
