Tyre Changer for Truck Mobile Roadservice with left-hand chuck orientation
The MM2-26T is the tyre changer designed for mobile roadside service on truck and bus wheels up to 26”. It is mounted at the rear of a service vehicle and features a left-hand oriented self-centering chuck. The four-jaw clamping system provides a secure grip on various rim types. It is equipped with a leverless system that minimizes operator effort, using a roller or a nail system to reduce tension on the tyre bead and rim edge. For added safety and reliability, the machine includes security micro-switches to prevent damage, an emergency manual pump for system failures, and an automatic motor stand-by to reduce energy consumption.
Available in two versions: via cable and via radio transmission.
Hofmann suggests the combination with Paguro P2, the space-saver handspin balancing system for truck and bus wheels.
The self-centering chuck, mounted on the movable spindle arm, has 4 jaws with locking capacity from 13” to 26”. The clamping points of the jaws ensure a perfect clamping of any type of rim.
The machine is equipped with a low voltage portable control unit, easily movable inside the working area. The rational lay-out of control levers, buttons and pedals prevents the operator from making accidental operational errors.
The tool holder can be equipped with a roller, for a quick demounting/mounting procedure, or with a leverless system by means of a nail to reduce bending and tension on the heel and on the rim edge. It minimizes the physical effort of the operator.
The innovative tool always in line technology allows the disc and the tool to be always in the right working position, thus ensuring greater ease and speed during M/D operations, more safety for the operator and greater protection of tyre and rim.
