Electro-Hydraulic Tyre Changer for Truck and Bus Wheels up to 27"
Megamount T32 is the electro-hydraulic universal tyre changer designed for truck and bus wheels ranging from 13” to 27”. It features a self-centering chuck with four jaws and five clamping points, ensuring a secure grip on all rim types. The high-pressure hydraulic circuit, adjustable up to 130 bar, allows efficient handling of steel and alloy rims, while the spindle operates at two speeds in both directions for optimal performance. The tool-holder arm is manually adjustable in direction and inclination, allowing quick selection of the appropriate tool for bead-breaking, extraction, and tyre mounting. A quick unlocking system ensures smooth and efficient operation changes. The tool-holder arm manually slides along the tool-holder carriage in three different working positions. The low-voltage portable control unit is easily movable and features an intuitive layout of levers, buttons, and pedals to prevent accidental operations.
Self-centering chuck mounted on the movable spindle arm, has 4 jaws with locking capacity from 13” to 27”. The 5 clamping points of the jaws ensure a perfect clamping of any type of rim. The spindle has two rotation speeds in two directions. The self-centering chuck operates by means of a high pressure hydraulic circuit to handle all types of steel and alloy rims and it is adjustable up to 130 bar.
The tool-holder arm is easily adjustable in direction and inclination and allows, with a simple movement, to choose the tool suitable for the phase of bead-breaking, tool-assisted extraction and mounting of the tyre. The quick unlocking system ensures ease and speed during operation change. The tool arm movement is manual. The tool-holder arm manually slides along the tool-holder carriage in three different working positions.
The machine is equipped with a low voltage portable control unit, easily movable inside the working area. The rational lay-out of control levers, buttons and pedals prevents the operator from making accidental operational errors.
