Electro-Hydraulic Universal Tyre Changer for Wheels of Heavy Vehicles up to 56"
The MM2-56T | MM2-56TA is the fully automatic universal tyre changer designed for heavy vehicle wheels up to 56” with optional extensions. The tool-holder arm is manual for MM2-56T and semiautomatic for MM2-56TA. The tool-holder arm slides along the tool-holder carriage to position itself on the outer and inner side of the rim. MM2-56T | MM2-56TA features a self-centering chuck mounted on a movable spindle arm, with four jaws ensuring secure clamping for rims from 14” to 42”, extendable to 56”. The spindle operates at two speeds in both directions, providing adaptability for different wheel types. The low-voltage portable control unit is easily movable, preventing accidental operations through a logical layout of levers, buttons, and pedals. It includes a stand-by function and emergency button as standard on MM2-56TA and optional on MM2-56T.
The self-centering chuck, mounted on the movable spindle arm, has 4 jaws with locking capacity from 14” to 42”. Working capacity can be increased up to 56” using the optional extensions. The 5 clamping points of the jaws ensure a perfect clamping of any type of rim. The spindle has two rotation speeds in two directions.
The tool-holder arm is easily adjustable in direction and inclination and allows, with a simple movement, to choose the tool suitable for the phase of bead-breaking, toolassisted extraction and mounting of the tyre. The quick unlocking system ensures ease and speed during operation change. The tool-holder arm slides along the tool-holder carriage to position itself on the outer and inner side of the rim. The tool arm movement is manual for MM2-56T and semiautomatic for MM2-56TA.
The machine is equipped with a low voltage portable control unit, easily movable inside the working area. The rational lay-out of control levers, buttons and pedals prevents the operator from making accidental operational errors. The control unit also controls the translational movement of the tool-holder carriage. Equipped with stand-by function and emergency button as standard on MM2-56TA. (Optional on MM2-56T).
